Zalf was founded in 1974 from a previous structure and its name is an acronym of the initials of the four partners: Zavarise, Andreola, Lucchetta and Fanizzi. However, shortly after, the company became the property of Lucchetta. At the time of purchase, Maser was a facility of 3500 square meters on 10,000 square meters of land and the new company invested heavily in rebuilding the entire production line from scratch. In the late eighties and the beginning of the next decade, Zalf saw a substantial expansion of production, reaching 25,000 square meters of covered area. New CNC machines were ntroduced, which doubled daily production.
Today it is a member of the Gruppo Euromobil, sharing a production philosophy aimed at offering each individual the opportunity to express unique personal choices. Its attractive, precise design interprets contemporary taste and adapts immediately to the different moments of everyday life. For years Zalf has been designing and producing in the knowledge and with the aim of preserving our planet. Over the years it has recognised the importance of sustainable design and transversal products and production systems. Eco-panel guarantees high quality standards with regard to resistance to scratches, stains, impact, abrasion and therefore long life. All furniture is made from ‘Regulation (EU) 2023/1464 ’ wood particle board panels with very low formaldehyde emissions (-50% compared to current regulations class E1)
